Counselling Services

Counsellor Interview

If you choose to book an online zoom call (a free 15-minute introduction) with the intent to see if you connect with the counsellor. We understand the importance of finding the person that best fits with you and meets your needs, this is a free 15-minute introduction.

Individual Counselling

We take an integrative approach to therapy at ECT. We blend elements from different approaches and tailor our treatments according to the unique needs of the client.

The initial session is a 60 - 75 min intensive session unpacking and understanding your own story. During this session, you can expect to identify your problem story and start to see what your preferred story could look like.

Couples Counselling

Elevate approaches therapy with couples as they are the experts in the relationship. ECT is not focused on the failings and/or the negative histories of each individual and/or each individual’s family. We are interested in focusing on the values of the relationship the couple intended to create together through time.

What would it look like if we could truly escape blame as a way of talking about our lives? What sort of conversation would take its place? And to what end?

At Elevate, we approach couples counselling in 4 sessions. The couple’s sessions are more complex and need more time to be effective. If it is a good fit, we will require a 3 session commitment after the initial consultation.

Family Counselling

Each family has its own story and interactions and therefore has a complex structure. We offer different packages to support families. Please contact us to learn more.
